Raku Celestial Tera Lamp - S I

Based in Los Angeles, United States
Introducing our new Celestial Collection, a very limited series of hand-painted Tera Lamps that are inspired by the Nebra Sky Disc. Dated 3,600 years old, the Nebra Sky Disc is believed to be the earliest known artifact depicting the Cosmos.
This is 1 of 2 lamps in the collection that was glazed with a White Crackle Raku glaze. The lamp was made using a red clay which gives the lamp a dusty pink color, and the carved designs were left unglazed which allows the clay to absorb the smoke during the Raku process, turning the clay black.
