Raku Celestial Tera Sconce I

Based in Los Angeles, United States
Introducing our new Celestial Collection, a very limited series of hand-painted Tera Lamps & Sconces that are inspired by the Nebra Sky Disc. Dated 3,600 years old, the Nebra Sky Disc is believed to be the earliest known artifact depicting the Cosmos.
This is 1 of 4 sconces in the collection that was glazed with a White Crackle Raku glaze. The lamp was made using a red clay which gives the lamp a dusty pink color, and the carved designs were left unglazed which allows the clay to absorb the smoke during the Raku process, turning the clay black.
Dimensions: 6" Wide x 10" OAH x 4" Deep
