Caja Alta Table Lamp #2

Our stoneware Caja Alta Table Lamp #2 is handcrafted using slab-construction techniques. The lamp’s pattern is created by rolling the surface with textured rolling pins and rods. The lamp’s sgraffiato pattern is created by scoring the surface with a wire-loop tool.

Pictured here in green shino glaze, antique brass fittings, beige cloth cord, full range dimmer socket and a vintage goatskin with rawhide whipstitch. Decades old, each have lived a life, pulling away at the corners of the frame, and gently warped from exposure to moisture.
