Elisa’s creations are resolutely contemporary. The sober and pure lines of her pieces give them a lot of elegance. Elisa works with the colombin technique, which consists of building up a shape by superimposing strands of clay and then smoothing them. This technique has been used for thousands of years, requiring only a few hand tools and allowing great freedom of form. These works, entirely handmade, give them a special touch, sensitivity and poetry.
