This sculptural brass mini sconce is part of a design collaboration between Robert Sukrachand and the Ban Pa Ao brassware community in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. Each piece is cast entirely by hand using centuries-old techniques, without molds or modern equipment.
The result is a one-of-a-kind lighting object — organic, textured, and deeply expressive. The Brushed Brass patina is achieved by burning local rice husks, producing a rich, speckled finish unique to this region and process.
