KVIT

Based in Paris, France
KVIT is a collectible sculptural side object conceived as an intimate, one-person ritual piece rather than functional furniture.
It is designed for a single, deliberate gesture β a cup of coffee, a book, a moment of light β introducing calm, focus, and quiet presence into contemporary interiors.
The object operates at the scale of a pedestal or side sculpture, emphasizing intention over utility. Its compact proportions are deliberate, encouraging a slowed interaction and a personal relationship with the object.
The name KVIT refers to a flower β a natural expression of harmony and balance between softness and structure. This idea is embodied in the objectβs organic yet controlled silhouette, shaped by smooth, continuous curves that feel resolved and self-contained rather than expansive.
Light interacts gently with the surface, revealing depth, metallic nuances, and subtle tonal transitions without visual tension. The integrated light element adds a focused, atmospheric glow, reinforcing the sculptural clarity of the form and transforming the object into a quiet spatial anchor.
The value of KVIT lies in its material authenticity. Each surface bears evidence of its making β heat, handwork, time, and transformation. Natural irregularities, tonal shifts, fine scratches, and surface marks are intentionally preserved, forming a living texture rather than a flawless finish. These qualities define KVIT as a unique collectible object, not a conventional furniture piece.
Surface & Uniqueness
The metalized finish is created through a heat-reactive, hand-controlled firing process. Because flame, temperature, and material response vary with each application, every KVIT table is inherently unique.
Color transitions, metallic shimmer, and surface rhythm emerge organically. Exact repetition is impossible β only a closely related interpretation can be achieved. This uniqueness is a defining feature of the tableβs collectible nature.
