LUME color

LUME Color is a sculptural table lamp that emphasizes material warmth and tactile depth.
This variation of the LUME series introduces a richer, more grounded palette, shifting the object’s presence toward earthiness and intimacy.

The base is crafted from Pleto Biocomposite, PletoStudio’s proprietary natural material composed of clay, hemp fibers, wood shavings, cellulose, mineral components, and an eco-friendly binder. Finished in a deep terracotta-burgundy tone, the surface reveals a pronounced hand-shaped texture, allowing light to interact subtly with its irregular relief. The color enhances the sculptural mass of the base, giving it a warm, grounded character with a distinctly material presence.

The lampshade is made using a hand-applied wool-wrapping technique in a soft natural tone. The fibers diffuse light evenly, producing a warm, enveloping glow ideal for evening and ambient lighting. The gentle contrast between the earthy mineral base and the light, airy shade creates a balanced and intimate composition.

LUME Color is designed for bedside tables, shelves, consoles, and curated interior settings where warmth, tactility, and atmosphere are essential. It pairs naturally with wabi-sabi, Japandi, organic modern, and earth-toned interiors, functioning as both a lighting object and a sculptural accent.
