The MALTA Floor Lamp celebrates the quiet beauty of forms shaped by time rather than intention. Inspired by the authenticity of natural surfaces, it combines a sculptural porous base with a softly layered raffia shade, creating an object that brings warmth, stillness, and a quiet sense of presence into a space.

The base is handcrafted from Pleto Biocomposite — a proprietary natural material developed by PletoStudio.

Its organic surface is formed entirely by hand, preserving softened contours, natural cavities, and an irregular texture that makes every piece unique. Rather than concealing the traces of its making, the surface celebrates them, revealing the beauty found in natural processes and handcrafted work.

The warm mineral tone enhances the tactile quality of the material, allowing the base to read as a sculptural object in its own right.

Above the sculptural base, a voluminous shade is handwoven from natural raffia.

Its layered construction gently filters the light, creating a warm atmospheric glow and a delicate interplay of light and shadow. The natural texture of raffia introduces softness and movement, balancing the grounded presence of the base while celebrating the quiet beauty of organic fibers.

Even when unlit, MALTA remains a sculptural presence within the interior.
