Pletyvo II

Pletyvo II is a compact sculptural pendant defined by a dome-like open structure and a sense of suspended movement.
Its form unfolds as a woven canopy, where light is partially enclosed above and released downward through a delicate cascade of chains.

The structure is entirely shaped by hand and carefully wrapped with natural raffia, creating an irregular, organic network with a tactile, fibrous surface.
Below, fine stainless steel chains extend from the frame, introducing rhythm, softness, and a subtle sense of gravity.

Pletyvo II explores contrast — between structure and fluidity, weight and lightness, containment and release.
The exposed bulb and open construction allow light to move freely through the form, casting soft shadows and emphasizing the object’s spatial presence.

Conceived as a collectible lighting object, Pletyvo II reflects PletoStudio’s approach to material-driven design, where handcrafted structure and atmosphere exist in balance.
