When we designed the Gar Bed, we had in mind a go-to upholstered bed that hit all the requirements and had a classic, timeless look. We wanted comfort, a good headboard for leaning, practical corners for protecting ankles, and a signature unique look that is timeless but with character. After a lot of work on proportions, we feel like we’ve got it finally: a go-to upholstered bed that just works.
- 100% polyester velvet, abrasion and stain resistant
- Steel bed slats
- Bed breaks down into headboard, footboard, and side rails using simple hardware for easy moving and to fit through elevators, doorways, stairwells
- Our bed slat system is designed to support innerspring mattresses. Specialty mattresses such as memory foam and pocket coil may require additional support such as a bunkie board.
