Reka Lounge Chair

The lounge chair version of the Reka Chair, spotlighting contrasting width. In designing the chair, we played with wide and narrow, thick and thin: the legs are wide and flat along one axis, thin along the other, while the seat cushion was elongated and fattened vertically. The wide panels emphasize the natural grain and luminescent sheen of the Makata wood. The fabric is durable, meant for daily use, and resistant to spills and stains.

• Handcrafted using traditional joinery; upholstered seat is attached using simple hardware
• We make each piece by hand from solid wood, not veneer or engineered wood. Because every tree is different, you’ll see variations in color and pattern. Learn more about finish variation here
